SDC teachers are not only classically trained in many dance styles and techniques, but are constantly learning and exploring new methods and trends through dance conventions, master classes, seminars and popular culture and passing that knowledge along to our students.

Jeana Griffiths

Ms. Jeana has been dancing since she was two years old. She began teaching at age 15, and started Steps Dance Complex at age 25. She teaches and choreographs both recreational and competition classes in ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and tap.

Jourdan Needham

Ms. Jourdan has also been dancing her entire life. She has taught at SDC for over 9 years and teaches the mommy and me classes, beginning tumbling, ballet, and lyrical. She also teaches and choreographs competition team dances and classes.

Kelly Fleckenstein

Ms. Kelly, a veteran dancer herself, has been teaching tap and jazz at SDC for 3 years. She also helps in numerous other capacities including helping with the competition team and helping the yearly recital run smoothly.

Zach Bayless

This is Zach's second year at STEPS teaching and choreographing Hip Hop classes and competition
routines including the new all-boy hip hop class!

 

 

Amber Baker

Amber has been dancing or teaching with STEPS since it began over 9 years ago and just returned after graduating from college last spring!
